Hours of Work: 44.5 Hours per week to be worked flexibly between 7.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday, times to be agreed with line manager, with a 30-minute lunch break and a minimum of 26 Saturday mornings per year from 8am to 12pm, generally worked on alternate weekends.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Sales Assistant to join our team in Long Whatton. As a Customer Sales Assistant you will offer a knowledgeable, helpful, and professional service to our customers and undertake various different duties.
What you’ll be doing as a Customer Sales Assistant:
- Greeting and serving customers on the yard and from the trade counter.
- Manual rack filling with timber and sheet materials.
- Serving Customers on the Trade Counter.
- Forklift duties as applicable to your individual skill set and development.
- Machining duties as your skill set develops.
- To provide a prompt, polite, helpful and professional service to customers in branch and always promoting a positive company image.
Your Skills:
- Ability to identify and locate products quickly and accurately.
- Ability to provide a courteous and professional approach to customers.
- Ability to self-motivate, organise, and execute tasks.
- Ability to work safely and cleanly.
- Good basic numerate and literate skills.
- Forklift License desirable but not essential.
