Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Housebuilder Sales to join our team in Long Whatton. You will support and grow sales to housebuilders and developers by providing accurate pricing, quotations and first‑class customer service from an internal sales position, working closely with all departments to maximise turnover and margin profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Point of contact for housebuilder and developer accounts
  • Prepare and manage accurate quotations and pricing schedules
  • Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring pricing accuracy and margin control
  • Proactively follow up quotations and enquiries to secure future business
  • Build strong working relationships with housebuilder buyers, site managers and commercial teams
  • Manage ongoing site requirements including call‑offs, variations and programme changes
  • Handle customer queries and resolve issues relating to pricing, stock availability and delivery lead times

Your Skills

  • Experience in sales within the timber merchant industry
  • Strong understanding of selling to housebuilder and developers
  • Confident in using sales systems, pricing matrix and Microsoft Office
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience preparing housebuilder tenders and take‑offs
