Location: Harlow Bros, Long Whatton, LE12 5DE

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours of Work: 7am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7am to 12pm Friday

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Bench Operative to join our team in Long Whatton, LE12 5DE. The Bench Operative has full overall responsibility to ensure sections and other building components are built to the high standards that’s have been synonymous with the name Harlow within both the Poultry and Stabling community.

What you’ll be doing as Bench Operative:

  • To work in a safe manner, to ensure you put colleague’s and your own safety first.
  • Ensure components are made In Full-On Time-To Standard.
  • To support in any other activities to help ensure buildings are built on time and to order specification.
  • To support and manufacture materials for any other part of the Harlow Timber Group activities.

Your Skills:

  • Sound knowledge of Timber products, types, and standards
  • Experience in using hand tools.
  • Competent at reading and building off scale drawings.
  • Driving licence
