Since 2006, Harley Therapy has connected individuals to the highest calibre practitioners in private practice, working to improve their mental health and lead more fulfilling lives. We are looking to work with an experienced self‑employed Psychologist (HCPC, UKCP or BPS registered) to practice from our Harley Street rooms. After room and admin fees, you can expect to earn from £100 per 50-minute session.

Administrative support is available six days a week, a dedicated marketing team to promote your services, and our bespoke booking system in place to help you focus on your clinical work. Given the varied nature of the referrals received, you will be confident in working with a broad range of issues, including complex cases, as long as it is safe to do so in private practice.

Availability requirements

This role prioritises Saturday availability. You will be able to commit to a minimum five-hour clinic on Saturdays, with the option to work longer if desired. If you wish to offer additional sessions beyond Saturdays, these would take place on weekdays between 4pm and 9pm (with the final client appointment starting at 8pm).

Other benefits include:
  • No room rental fees when you take time off
  • Two London-based gatherings each year, offering the chance to meet the wider team in a relaxed setting
  • Working in sought‑after central London locations
  • Being part of a professional community that values both client care and practitioners’ wellbeing

At Harley Therapy, we place a strong emphasis on long‑term professional relationships. We provide robust and responsive administrative support, carefully maintained consulting rooms, and a dedicated marketing team that works continuously to support visibility and appropriate referrals for the practitioners. We also use a bespoke booking and administrative system designed to support efficient repeat appointments and easy access to information around scheduling. We value continuity highly and place clients at the centre of the work we support.

Many of the therapists who work with us have been working with Harley Therapy for over ten years, which we believe is essential in providing consistency, reliability, and a stable therapeutic experience for returning clients. Our ideal candidate would be looking to establish a long‑term collaboration, and would prioritise thoughtful and ethical client care.

While practitioners work independently and do not operate as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, we do place importance on fostering a sense of professional connection. The gatherings organised by Harley Therapy are intended as informal, social opportunities to meet colleagues and the wider team, rather than as clinical or MDT-based forums. If this approach resonates with you, we would be very pleased to hear from you. You are welcome to include a short note with your application. Longevity in previous roles and NHS experience is preferred. Registered with the HCPC, UKCP or BPS. You will have a minimum of 8 years of experience, preferably more, which includes the years spent seeing clients under supervision during training.
