Harley House Supported Living is seeking two skilled and compassionate PBS Practitioners to join our supported living services.

You will work directly with autistic, individuals with learning disabilities, physical and mental health conditions, acquired brain injury, sensory impairment and/or behaviours that may challenge, developing and embedding Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans that improve quality of life and reduce reliance on restrictive practices. You will work closely with individuals, their families, support teams and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure support is proactive, person-centred and evidence based.

Interviews will be held on Monday 17th August and Wednesday 19th August.

About The Role

Reporting to the Head of Care, you'll play a key role in embedding Positive Behaviour Support across our supported living services in North East Essex, Ipswich and Norwich.

Working alongside the people we support, their families, support teams and multidisciplinary professionals, you'll:

  • Complete behavioural and functional assessments.
  • Develop, implement and review high-quality PBS plans.
  • Coach and mentor support teams through real-time practice and training.
  • Analyse behavioural data to improve outcomes.
  • Support complex transitions into services.
  • Champion restrictive practice reduction and quality-of-life outcomes.
  • Promote evidence-based, ethical practice in line with UKSBA standards.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Qualified to Level 6 PBS Diploma or above (or BSc/MSc in ABA/PBS).
  • A UKSBA member (or eligible to join).
  • Experienced in developing and implementing PBS plans within health or social care.
  • Passionate about person-centred support and human rights.
  • Confident working collaboratively with families, support teams and multidisciplinary professionals.
  • Skilled at coaching others and embedding positive practice.
  • A confident communicator with excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
  • A car driver with a full UK driving licence and willing to travel across our services.
