This Hybrid role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, in the UK, France or Spain, when and how you accomplish your work.
Job Summary
This position is responsible for the administration of the HDMC warranty policy across multiple markets through the processing of incoming warranty claims within existing guidelines. In addition, this position will act as a warranty expert within the region providing advice, support and training to markets and dealers as required.
Job Responsibilities
- Process or acknowledge all inbound warranty claims within 48 hours.
- Assist dealers to work within warranty policy to eliminate abuse of the warranty program.
- Assist field sales managers (FSM) & technical service team (TSR) in administering any goodwill measures.
- Provide relevant management reports for leadership and field teams as needed.
- Conduct warranty audits within the dealer network to ensure dealer compliance with policy; train and coach dealers where errors have been found; report abuse to supervisor.
- Work with the region to improve warranty and recall process.
- Provides an opportunity for the Warranty analyst to develop and implement process improvements for warranty reporting and processing.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Experience Requirements
- Required: Fluent in English
- Minimum of 2 years previous general warranty experience.
- Experience working within the automotive industry at either a distributor, market or retail level.
- Previous experience in auditing processes, recommending and implementing process improvements.
- Experience in creating training programs to support dealer network is preferred but not essential.
- Experience working within SAP Sales and Distribution module
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SAP & mainframe database principles.
- Excellent communication skills to enable effective communication with the dealer network and H-DMC management.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative team player.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work within defined guidelines.
- Proven track record of success in a similar role or industry environment.
- Preferred: Qualifications in mechanical engineering are preferred but not essential.
- Sound understanding of warranty processing and reporting within SAP is preferred.
- Fluency in another Language.
