Role Overview

The Network Development & Training Lead is a key role supporting centrally coordinated Network Development and dealer training activity across EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa).

The role involves strategy execution, dealer performance measurement and reporting, departmental administration and coordination of operations across markets.

Responsibilities

  • Support centrally coordinated Network Development and dealer training activity across EMEA.
  • Lead strategy execution, dealer performance measurement and reporting, departmental administration and coordination of operations across markets.
  • Develop and deliver global and regional initiatives to improve dealer profitability and capability.
  • Oversee programs such as Dealer Financial Reporting, Dealer Training (through Harley-Davidson University) and Network Planning.
  • Coordinate with in-market teams to track delivery of the network strategy across EMEA.
  • Report regional progress to senior leadership regarding buy/sells, relocations, openings and support activation of new format opportunities.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders within HDMC, the dealer network and vendors.
  • Develop and execute monthly Dealer Health reporting.
  • Maintain departmental budget tracking.
  • Ensure policies and processes are reviewed and updated as necessary.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Industry or automotive experience with strong understanding of dealer financial systems and operations.
  • Ability to manage highly confidential information.
  • Fluency with key performance indicators, profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, collaboration and influence skills.
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
  • Creative, flexible and innovative team player.
  • Fluency in verbal and written English.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience.
  • Preferred: experience dealing with change, experience within a premium retail brand, project management experience, ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, additional regional languages.
