Established in 2015, HA has already grown to be the UK’s largest postgraduate training provider in aesthetic medicine. As providers of exceptional higher education, our main goal is to improve patient safety through our training; raising educational standards for the most widely requested non-surgical cosmetic procedures: injectables and cosmetic dermatology treatments.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Trainer in Cosmetic Dermatology to join our faculty. This role is central to our mission of raising the standards of aesthetic education. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, evidence-based training to students across cosmetic dermatology treatments, while ensuring patient safety and an excellent learning environment. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled practitioner with a love for education to inspire, mentor, and guide students as they develop their clinical skills.
Primary Responsibilities
- Be an ambassador for Harley Academy
- Deliver exemplary training for our students
- Lecture based teaching
- 1:1 practical training
- Small group training
- Remote virtual training
- Train our students in cosmetic dermatology, including:
- Chemical peels
- Advanced skin health assessments and treatment planning

Skills and Experience
- Qualified medical professional (doctor, nurse, dentist, or prescribing pharmacist) OR aesthetic practitioner with advanced qualifications in skin health (minimum Level 4 or equivalent in aesthetic dermatology)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in cosmetic dermatology treatments (peels, microneedling, skincare protocols, laser desirable)
- A passion for excellence in teaching
- Has safety and quality outcomes at the heart of all decision making
- Works within the Code of Conduct of relevant professional body
- Participates in continuing professional development activity to maintain high standards of education – this includes attending our educational training days
- Maintains GMC/NMC/GDC Full Licence to practise (or equivalent Professional Body) and is up to date with Appraisal and Revalidation
- Must have availability of 2 days per week and one Saturday per month
- Right to work in the UK (unfortunately we are unable to sponsor Visa applications)
- Postgraduate qualification in Aesthetic Medicine (Level 7 or equivalent)
- Formal teaching qualification (e.g., Level 3 Award in Education & Training or equivalent)
- Possesses a Level 3 Teaching Qualification or equivalent
- Possess a L3AVVRA or equivalent qualification
- Knowledge of leading medical-grade skincare brands and treatment systems
- Ability to work independently and within teams
