The Harlequins Foundation is looking for a coach to join its Programmes team, delivering schools programmes in primary and secondary schools in Merton, Croydon and Wandsworth.
The Role
Reporting to the Foundation Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing the Foundation’s primary school sports partnership offer, Move. Learn. Grow., and help deliver its own and nationally funded programmes, including Premiership Rugby Champions, Project Rugby, METTLE and SWITCH. This is a part-time, flexitime role, mainly Monday to Friday with occasional weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Help coordinate and deliver the Move. Learn. Grow. primary school offer
- Lead delivery of centrally funded programmes such as Premiership Rugby Champions, and support Project Rugby, METTLE, SWITCH and Hitz on Track
- Build long-lasting relationships with local schools in the Foundation’s focus boroughs
- Deliver high-quality sports coaching across Key Stages 1–5, including extra‑curricular sessions
- Build links with grassroots clubs to support the move from school to club sport
- Keep monitoring and evaluation systems up to date and support holiday programmes
About You
- An NGB Level 2 coaching qualification in any sport (required)
- At least one year’s sports coaching experience (preferred)
- A driving licence (preferred)
- Passionate about making a difference to young people in London

- Location: Various sites across South West London (in person)
- Contract: Freelance, temporary (part time, flexitime)
- Pay: £15–£18 per hour, depending on experience
