A highly regarded, Legal 500 recognised and award-winning law firm, with offices across the East Midlands, is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Conveyancer to join as a Team Leader to manage and develop their expanding Residential Conveyancing team in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior conveyancer who enjoys leadership responsibilities alongside fee earning and wants to play a key role in shaping and growing a successful department.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including:
- Sales and purchases (including leasehold and new-build)
- Re-mortgages
- Equity release
- Transfers of equity
- In your Team Leader capacity, you will also:
- Lead, manage, and develop the Residential Conveyancing team
- Act as a point of escalation and support for junior fee earners
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referrers
- Drive business development and contribute to departmental growth
- Ensure high standards of compliance, organisation, and file management
- Work confidently with minimal supervision
- Use case management systems effectively and promote best practice across the team
About You:
- Proven experience within a busy residential conveyancing team
- Confident managing a full conveyancing caseload independently
- Previous experience in a Team Leader / supervisory / management role (essential)
- Strong business development skills
- Excellent organisational and compliance skills
- IT literate, with prior experience using case management systems
- Formal qualifications are welcomed but not essential. The firm is happy to invest in your development, including CLC or SQE routes, if applicable
