Our client, a respected and forward-thinking law firm, is seeking a Residential Conveyancer to join their established property team. This role is ideal for a confident professional who can independently handle a varied caseload of freehold and leasehold transactions while delivering exceptional client service.

About the Role

The successful candidate will manage a busy and diverse caseload of residential property matters. You’ll be responsible for overseeing transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring deadlines are met, clients are kept fully informed, and high standards of accuracy and professionalism are maintained.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience handling residential conveyancing files
  • Solid understanding of the full lifecycle of property transactions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling a mixed caseload of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, title documents, reports, and enquiries
  • Completing title checks and raising or responding to legal enquiries
  • Preparing mortgage and transaction reports for clients
  • Ordering searches, reviewing results, and advising clients accordingly
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, solicitors, lenders, and third parties
  • Preparing files for completion, including necessary financial documentation
  • Ability to remain organised under pressure in a busy department
