We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Law Costs Draftsperson to join our clients growing team to work on a fully remote basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Law Costs Draftsperson to work with a dynamic and supportive legal team in a role that offers both flexibility. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to meeting deadlines and targets.

About the Role:
- Drafting bills of costs for various cases, including PI claims, industrial disease claims, commercial matters, clinical negligence claims, and credit claims.
- Preparing schedules of costs and statements for trial.
- Providing cost advice to clients in writing or via telephone regarding settlement recovery or technical issues.
- Drafting and negotiating Cost Budgets, and preparing documentation for the CCMC.
- Attending CCMC/CMC hearings for advocacy related to Cost Budgets and/or directions.
- Conducting regular file reviews and utilising Proclaim to ensure timely progression of matters.
- Meeting daily chargeable time targets and yearly billing targets set by a Manager.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience in cost drafting, with a comprehensive understanding of various case types
- Proficiency in using a case management system and Costs Master (cost drafting software)
