I’m working with a well-established and highly regarded family law team who are looking to add a Family Law specialist to their Nottingham office. This is a great opportunity for a solicitor or chartered legal executive who wants to join a supportive team and enjoy a sensible work-life balance.

If you’re someone who cares about clients, enjoys running your own cases, and wants to work somewhere friendly and collaborative, this could be a really good fit.

You’ll be managing your own varied caseload, covering both legal aid and private family work, including:

  • Divorce and separation
  • Financial matters
  • Private law children cases
  • Domestic abuse matters

You’ll have the autonomy to run your files from start to finish, including doing your own advocacy, while being supported by experienced colleagues and a team of dedicated paralegals and legal secretaries when needed.

They’re looking for a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with experience in family law, although all levels of PQE will be considered. You will be confident running your own caseload of public and private family matters and have a strong focus on client care. A calm and empathetic approach is important, particularly when working with vulnerable clients, alongside good organisation and time management skills.

What’s on offer:

  • Competitive salary, depending on experience
  • Support from an experienced, approachable and dynamic team
  • Company pension scheme
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Clear opportunities to progress your career
  • Hybrid working

This is a chance to join a close-knit family team with an excellent local reputation. The firm values quality work, teamwork, and treating people properly – both clients and staff. They offer a stable role where you can grow your career without unrealistic pressures.
