The Opportunity
We are working in partnership with a highly regarded national law firm seeking an experienced Military Solicitor to join their specialist team handling military claims.
This is a unique opportunity to work on complex, high-value cases representing current and former armed forces personnel. The firm has a strong reputation for claimant litigation and is committed to delivering justice for those who have served.
The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of military-related claims, including:
- Personal injury claims involving service personnel
- Noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) cases
- Non-freezing cold injury (NFCI) claims
- Training and combat-related injury cases
- Claims against the Ministry of Defence
You’ll work closely with a supportive team of specialists, with access to excellent resources and career progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing your own caseload of military claims from inception to resolution
- Providing expert legal advice to clients with sensitivity and professionalism
- Drafting legal documents, witness statements, and pleadings
- Negotiating settlements and, where necessary, preparing cases for trial
- Building strong client relationships and maintaining high service standards
About You
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ–5+ PQE considered)
- Experience in personal injury or litigation (military claims experience advantageous but not essential)
- Strong understanding of claimant litigation processes
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- A genuine interest in supporting military personnel and veterans
