Overview Military Solicitor – Hybrid / UK (flexible) β€’ Permanent, full-time β€’ Associate – Senior Associate (depending on experience)Harkaye Core Talent is recruiting for an experienced Military Solicitor to join a specialist practice acting for current and former members of the Armed Forces and their families. This role offers the opportunity to work on highly meaningful, often complex cases, providing legal advice and representation to service personnel in matters that can have life-changing consequences.The Role You will manage a varied caseload of military and service-related claims, delivering expert legal advice with professionalism, discretion, and sensitivity.Advising serving and former Armed Forces personnel on military-related legal mattersManaging claims relating to military injury, negligence, inquests, and compensation schemesActing in cases involving the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme (AFCS) and War Pension SchemeRepresenting clients in hearings, appeals, and tribunals where requiredDrafting legal submissions, witness statements, and supporting documentationLiaising with the Ministry of Defence, medical experts, and counselProviding clear, empathetic advice to clients and their familiesMaintaining high standards of client care and complianceAbout You You will:Be a qualified solicitor in England & WalesHave experience in military law , or a closely related area such as personal injury, public law, or inquestsDemonstrate a strong understanding of AFCS / War Pension Scheme processesBe confident managing sensitive and complex casesHave excellent written and verbal communication skillsShow a genuine commitment to supporting Armed Forces personnelPrevious experience acting for service personnel, veterans, or within military-focused practices will be highly advantageous.What\’s on Offer Competitive salary aligned to experienceHybrid and flexible working arrangementsSpecialist, high-quality caseloadSupportive and values-driven working cultureWork with real purpose and social impactHow to Apply This role is being advertised by Harkaye Core Talent .
