Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking an experienced Housing Disrepair Lawyer to join their expanding department. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven legal professional to manage their own caseload, deliver outstanding client service, and achieve strong legal outcomes on behalf of tenants.
Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of Housing Disrepair matters from instruction to completion.
- Conduct legal research and provide clear, accurate advice to clients.
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, correspondence, and other key documents.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in hearings where required.
- Handle litigation from pre-action through to trial, including liaising with defendants, experts, and opposing solicitors.
- Assess liability and quantum, obtain expert evidence, and prepare schedules of loss.
- Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement meetings as needed.
