An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join a highly regarded, specialist Public Law team recognised for its work across education, health, social care, and human rights. This role offers the chance to work in a supportive, collaborative environment where people genuinely enjoy working together to make a difference. Hybrid working is available, with a focus on remote first and occasional office attendance required.
Responsibilities
- Assist fee earners with their caseloads within the Court of Protection team.
- Draft correspondence and prepare court documents.
- Conduct legal research and provide clear, concise summaries.
- Liaise with clients (including vulnerable individuals), case managers, and other professionals.
- Support new client enquiries and maintain accurate internal records.
- Manage calls and casework efficiently, ensuring excellent client service.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of procedures and relevant legal developments.
- Assist with billing and general administrative support.
Qualifications
- Law degree or equivalent legal qualification (LPC/PGDL).
- Excellent client care and communication skills.
- A team player who can also work independently to deliver results.
- Strong ability to prioritise, manage workloads, and work to deadlines.
- Highly organised with strong written communication and attention to detail.
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
