A leading international law firm in London is seeking an England & Wales qualified Restructuring and Bankruptcy Associate with 3–5 years’ PQE to join its highly regarded practice. This role offers exposure to complex, high-value restructuring and insolvency matters, often with a cross-border dimension, advising a diverse and sophisticated global client base.
The successful candidate will work on a broad range of restructuring and special situations matters, including:
- Complex domestic and cross-border restructurings
- Insolvency and restructuring-related proceedings
- Advising on sophisticated financing structures and distressed debt scenarios
- Working closely with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions
We are keen to speak with candidates who meet the following criteria:
- England & Wales qualified solicitor
- 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience in restructuring, insolvency, or special situations
- Strong working knowledge of key financing instruments, including bank loans, high-yield debt, and intercreditor arrangements
- Experience handling restructuring-related proceedings with a multi-jurisdictional element
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with a strong sense of ownership over matters
