On behalf of our client, a well-regarded and established law firm with offices in Liverpool and Manchester, we are recruiting for an Employment Law Solicitor to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified solicitor up to 3 years PQE who is looking to develop their career within a supportive, progressive firm known for its strong culture and high-quality legal work.

The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of employment law matters, acting primarily on behalf of claimants. The role offers a broad range of contentious employment work, with the opportunity to further develop advocacy and litigation skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a varied caseload of employment law matters from instruction to conclusion
  • Advising and representing claimants on employment-related disputes
  • Handling employment litigation matters, including Tribunal claims
  • Drafting pleadings, correspondence, and legal documentation
  • Liaising with clients, counsel, and third parties
  • Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements

The firm is keen to speak with solicitors who are confident managing their own matters and who thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements include:

  • Qualified Solicitor (NQ – 3 years PQE)
  • Experience managing an employment law caseload
  • Employment litigation experience is advantageous
  • Any experience working with or alongside Trade Unions would be beneficial
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
