Remote-first from Manchester, Liverpool or Leeds office. We are pleased to be partnering with a leading national law firm to recruit an experienced EL/PL Solicitor to join its well-established personal injury team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigation professional to assume a key leadership role whilst undertaking a small caseload of multi-track personal injury claims involving Employer’s Liability and Public Liability matters.
The Role
- You will take full ownership of a caseload of complex multi-track EL/PL claims, handling matters from instruction through to settlement or trial.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a reduced caseload of multi-track Employer’s Liability and Public Liability claims
- Providing operational and technical guidance to the team
- Day to day management of direct reports including allocation of cases, 121s and file reviews
- Supporting business development, budgeting and forecasting
About You
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Chartered Legal Executive (8+ years)
- Proven experience managing EL/PL personal injury claims
- Strong understanding of multi-track litigation
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and case management skills
- Ability to undertake business development activity and financial analysis
