About the Opportunity

HarKaye Core Talent is recruiting for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to support a specialist claimant-focused litigation team in a national firm. The firm will consider a Grade A candidate for either a fee-earning or Team Leader opportunity.

The Role

You’ll work on a mixed caseload of clinical negligence claims, including matters involving obstetric, neonatal, anaesthetic, neurosurgical, cardiac, oncology, and psychiatric care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a mixed caseload of complex claimant matters
  • Maintain an active presence in the market space to develop organic network of cases into the business and from our Partners
  • Advise clients clearly and sensitively, representing them in court where required
  • Drafting pleadings, schedules of loss, other court documentation and negotiating settlements

Experience & Attributes Required:

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (8+ PQE)
  • Strong experience handling litigated clinical negligence matters
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and client relationship skills
  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage a busy and varied caseload
