We are pleased to be partnering with a leading national law firm to recruit an experienced EL/PL Fee Earner to join its well-established personal injury team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigation professional to manage a caseload of multi-track personal injury claims involving Employer’s Liability and Public Liability matters. The role is primarily remote, with occasional attendance required at either the Manchester or Liverpool office.

The Role

  • You will take full ownership of a caseload of complex multi-track EL/PL claims, handling matters from instruction through to settlement or trial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of multi-track Employer’s Liability and Public Liability claims
  • Preparing trial bundles and court documents
  • Taking witness statements
  • Drafting instructions to Counsel
  • Reviewing medical records, expert evidence, and liability disclosure
  • Instructing and liaising with rehabilitation experts, case managers, and other expert witnesses
  • Developing litigation strategy to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients
  • Maintaining high standards of client care throughout the claims process

About You

  • Proven experience managing EL/PL personal injury claims
  • Strong understanding of multi-track litigation
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and case management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing a busy caseload
  • Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness

Qualifications

  • Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Chartered Legal Executive status would be advantageous but is not essential. Applications are welcomed from experienced Litigation Executives and Fee Earners with the relevant claimant personal injury experience.
