About the Opportunity
Harkaye Core Talent is recruiting for an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join a well‑established and growing claimant‑focused practice. This role involves exposure to high‑quality, complex clinical negligence work, with the opportunity to run cases autonomously while being supported by a collaborative and highly skilled team.
The Role
- Managing a caseload of claimant clinical negligence claims from inception to resolution
- Investigating liability, breach of duty, and causation
- Instructing and liaising with medical experts and counsel
- Drafting letters of claim, pleadings, schedules of loss, and settlement documentation
- Advising clients with empathy, clarity, and professionalism
- Negotiating settlements and progressing cases through litigation where required
- Ensuring compliance with pre‑action protocols and procedural rules
- Maintaining high standards of client care and file management
About You
- Be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales
- Have post‑qualification experience in clinical negligence
- Be confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
- Have a strong understanding of the clinical negligence pre‑action protocol
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in high‑stakes contexts
- Approach complex and sensitive matters with professionalism and compassion
Experience handling high‑value, catastrophic injury, or birth injury claims would be highly advantageous.
