The Opportunity

We are looking for a talented Education Solicitor to join a well-regarded team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of education law, advising and representing clients on a broad range of complex and often high-profile matters.

You’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact, working with parents, schools, and local authorities on issues that directly affect children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of education law matters, including SEN (Special Educational Needs), exclusions, admissions, and judicial review.
• Provide clear, practical advice to clients while ensuring high standards of client care.
• Represent clients in negotiations, tribunals, and court proceedings.
• Keep up to date with developments in education law and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and external bodies.

About You

• Qualified solicitor (NQ–5 years PQE) with experience in education law or a strong background in public law with exposure to education matters.
• Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
• Strong drafting and analytical ability with attention to detail.
• A client-focused approach, with empathy and resilience when supporting families.
• Passion for making a difference in education and access to justice.
