Harkaye is partnering with a leading international law firm to strengthen its London team with the addition of an English law-qualified associate specialising in derivatives and structured finance.
The firm welcomes applications from associates with between 2–4 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally trained at a Magic Circle firm or a comparable international firm with a top-tier structured finance practice, who are looking to take on greater responsibility and further develop their expertise within a high-quality, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting complex derivatives and structured products matters, including ISDA documentation, while also contributing to the wider debt finance practice, which primarily comprises corporate finance and leveraged finance transactions.
- The role sits within a dynamic international platform, offering excellent exposure to sophisticated cross-border work.
Qualifications
- UK-trained and UK-qualified associate
- 2–4 years’ PQE
- Experience gained at a Magic Circle firm or a comparable international firm with a strong structured finance practice
- A solid foundation in derivatives and structured products
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, particularly in relation to ISDA documentation
- Comfortable working with a degree of autonomy and taking on meaningful responsibility
- Experience with loan products or acquisition finance is advantageous but not essential
- Strong academic record is essential
- Commercially minded, versatile, and committed, with the ambition to grow and develop a long-term practice
