We’re supporting a Tier 1 ranked civil fraud practice, recognised in both The Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, to hire an exceptional Civil Fraud Associate. This team operates at the top of the global litigation market, working on some of the largest fraud and asset recovery cases in the world, including enforcement of the biggest arbitration awards in legal history.
About the Opportunity
The work is high-value, cross-border, and high-profile – with regular exposure to freezing orders, interim injunctions, and complex asset recovery. You’ll gain meaningful court experience from early on, working directly with partners and having a say in the strategic direction of matters. The team is ambitious but close-knit – offering genuine mentorship, frequent international travel, and a clear path to promotion for those looking to build a long-term career.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing your own caseload and implementing case strategy
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and inter-partes correspondence
- Leading on smaller matters and playing a key role in larger cases
- Acting as a main contact for clients, counsel, and experts
- Attending hearings and litigation strategy meetings
- Mentoring trainees and overseeing paralegal support
- Producing legal updates and thought leadership
- Representing the team at business development and networking events
What We’re Looking For
- UK qualified solicitor with 1+ year PQE in civil litigation
- Experience from a well-regarded commercial or litigation firm
- A genuine interest in fraud, enforcement, and asset recovery
- Someone who thrives under pressure, stays solutions-focused, and works well in a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
