A leading international law firm in London is seeking an England & Wales qualified Restructuring and Bankruptcy Associate with 3–5 years’ PQE to join its highly regarded practice. This role offers exposure to complex, high-value restructuring and insolvency matters, often with a cross-border dimension, advising a diverse and sophisticated global client base.

The successful candidate will work on a broad range of restructuring and special situations matters, including:

  • Complex domestic and cross-border restructurings
  • Insolvency and restructuring-related proceedings
  • Advising on sophisticated financing structures and distressed debt scenarios
  • Working closely with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions

We are keen to speak with candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • England & Wales qualified solicitor
  • 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience in restructuring, insolvency, or special situations
  • Strong working knowledge of key financing instruments, including bank loans, high-yield debt, and intercreditor arrangements
  • Experience handling restructuring-related proceedings with a multi-jurisdictional element
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with a strong sense of ownership over matters
