Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of solicitors, fee earners, and support staff
  • Conduct regular supervision meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of team members
  • Maintain a reduced caseload of Claims Against Public Authorities matters

About You

Essential Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor (Grade A or equivalent experience)
  • Accredited Legal Aid Supervisor status for CAPA work
  • Strong background in actions against public authorities
  • Previous experience managing or supervising legal teams
  • Excellent understanding of Legal Aid processes and compliance requirements
  • Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills
