About the Role
Harkaye Core Talent is supporting a leading international law firm in their search for an exceptional Associate to join their market-leading Civil Fraud and Asset Recovery practice. This team is ranked among the best in the world, handling some of the largest and most complex global fraud and enforcement disputes. Current matters include multi-jurisdictional litigation valued in the billions and high-profile enforcement actions against sovereign states and corporate entities.
This is an opportunity to work alongside industry-recognised partners on headline cases, gaining extensive exposure to strategic, cross-border litigation and early responsibility for key elements of major disputes. Associates in this team enjoy significant client contact, mentoring from senior lawyers, and opportunities for international travel related to both client work and business development.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a varied caseload of complex, high-value civil fraud and asset recovery disputes.
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, and other key litigation documents.
- Attend and assist at hearings, often in the High Court and on urgent injunctions.
- Liaise with clients, counsel, experts, and overseas lawyers across multiple jurisdictions.
- Contribute to the team’s growth through business development and thought leadership initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with strong post-qualification experience in civil or commercial litigation.
- Demonstrated interest in fraud, enforcement, or judgment recovery work.
- Exceptional academic background and training gained from a top-tier international or leading UK law firm.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and advocacy skills, with the confidence to take ownership of complex matters.
- Collaborative mindset, commercial acumen, and a commitment to professional excellence.
