An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Childcare Solicitor or Legal Executive to join one of the largest and most respected childcare teams in the East Midlands. Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to appoint a Children Panel Accredited lawyer to work in Leicester or Northampton, representing children in cases across England. A following of Guardian clients would be highly advantageous.

This role offers exposure to a varied and rewarding caseload including:

  • Care proceedings
  • Emergency Protection Orders (EPOs)
  • Special guardianship and adoption matters
  • Private law proceedings, including Rule 16.4 instructions
  • Separate representation of competent children

The successful candidate will ideally have 5+ years' PQE together with strong advocacy skills and the ability to provide clear, practical advice in sensitive and often complex matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate childcare lawyer looking to join a highly regarded and supportive team that is genuinely committed to making a difference to the lives of children and families.
