A highly regarded, Legal 500 recognised and award-winning law firm, with offices across the East Midlands, is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Conveyancer to join as a Team Leader, managing and developing their expanding Residential Conveyancing team in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior conveyancer who enjoys leadership responsibilities alongside fee earning and wants to play a key role in shaping and growing a successful department.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including:
  • Sales and purchases (including leasehold and new-build)
  • Re-mortgages
  • Equity release
  • Transfers of equity
  • In your Team Leader capacity, you will also:
    • Lead, manage, and develop the Residential Conveyancing team
    • Act as a point of escalation and support for junior fee earners
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referrers
    • Drive business development and contribute to departmental growth
    • Ensure high standards of compliance, organisation, and file management
    • Work confidently with minimal supervision
    • Use case management systems effectively and promote best practice across the team

    About You:

    • Proven experience within a busy residential conveyancing team
    • Confident managing a full conveyancing caseload independently
    • Previous experience in a Team Leader / supervisory / management role (essential)
    • Strong business development skills
    • Excellent organisational and compliance skills
    • IT literate, with prior experience using case management systems
    • Formal qualifications are welcomed but not essential; the firm is happy to invest in your development, including CLC or SQE routes, if applicable
