Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate Court of Protection Bills of Costs with a high level of detail.
- Traditional Bills of Costs
- Electronic Bills of Costs (Precedent S)
- Costs Budgets (Precedent H)
- Statements of Costs (N260)
- Provide strategic costs advice to clients and internal teams.
- Negotiate settlements and costs with opposing parties.
- Draft and respond to Points of Dispute and Replies.
- Prepare and submit Part 8 and Interim Payment Applications.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven track record preparing Court of Protection Bills of Costs.
- Strong experience with a range of legal costs documentation, including Precedent S, Precedent H, and N260.
- Confident negotiation skills.
