A prestigious client seeks a meticulous and self-driven Law Costs Draftsperson to join their expanding team on either a fully remote or hybrid working basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring client satisfaction by efficiently managing and meeting their needs. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to meeting deadlines and targets.
Location: Fully Remote OR Hybrid (depending on location)

About the role:
- Drafting bills of costs for various cases, including PI claims, industrial disease claims, commercial matters, clinical negligence claims, and credit claims
- Preparing schedules of costs and statements for trial
- Providing cost advice to clients in writing or via telephone regarding settlement recovery or technical issues
- Drafting and negotiating Cost Budgets, and preparing documentation for the CCMC
- Attending CCMC/CMC hearings for advocacy related to Cost Budgets and/or directions
- Conducting regular file reviews and utilising Proclaim to ensure timely progression of matters
- Meeting daily chargeable time targets and yearly billing targets set by a Manager
Experience Required:
- Proven experience in cost drafting, with a comprehensive understanding of various case types
- Proficiency in using a case management system and Costs Master (cost drafting software)
