We are currently working with a respected and well-established firm seeking an ambitious Child Care Solicitor to join their growing public law team. This role is suitable for solicitors with a minimum of 2 years PQE through to more experienced practitioners.
The successful candidate will have experience handling public law children matters involving Local Authorities, with strong exposure to pre-proceedings and care proceedings. The role will predominantly involve representing parents, and there is a strong preference for candidates who are already accredited to the Law Society's Children Panel or are working towards accreditation.
You will be confident in managing your own caseload and conducting court hearings, including short final hearings, as well as attending pre-proceedings meetings and advocates meetings.
