The Role
A Centre assistant works as part of a team ensuring that the building is a bright, welcoming hygienic space, which is well resourced and safely managed. The Centre Assistant supports the Nursery team throughout the day and plays a pivotal role at mealtimes. This will be a great opportunity for you to be part of our vision in being a beacon of outstanding childcare and education in the Local Authority.

Stonecroft is a Haringey Council maintained Nursery that has recently been rated “Outstanding” for a second time by Ofsted. Stonecroft is an innovative nursery with friendly, hardworking and motivated staff who provide childcare and education for families in our diverse local community. Stonecroft has an exciting Reggio‑inspired environment for children to grow and reach their full potential.
About You
You are an enthusiastic individual with a passion for working with young children and taking care of their hygiene and safety needs. You will be a good flexible and dynamic team player. Any experience or qualification up to level 2 in working with children and young people welcome but not essential and with a willingness to develop, train and progress. Be an inspirational role model to children and be passionate about team working. Be a good communicator. Be an advocate for equal opportunities.
