About the Role:

  • Deliver high‑quality, engaging, and challenging lessons that inspire curiosity and ambition.
  • Support students to achieve excellent outcomes, including high pass rates and strong high‑grade profiles.
  • Use data intelligently to inform teaching, intervention and curriculum planning.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, assessment design and quality improvement.
  • Act as a personal tutor, supporting students' academic progress, wellbeing and future pathways.
  • Play an active role in enrichment, progression and the wider life of the college.

About You:

  • Has strong subject knowledge in Sociology & Psychology (A Level).
  • Is passionate about teaching and learning and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Has high expectations of students and themselves.
  • Is reflective, collaborative and open to innovation.
  • Is either an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to develop in a supportive, high‑performing environment.
