Hours per week: 36 hours per week, Hybrid Working

About The Role
We are seeking Registered Building Inspectors to play a key part in our high-performing service within the Planning & Building Standards directorate. In this important role, you will support improvements to the built environment for residents and businesses in Haringey. You will also be a key player in implementing the new building safety regime, building on our strong progress and positive culture in this area.
About The Team
Haringey’s Building Control team is nationally recognised, having been shortlisted as a finalist for the Local Authority Building Control Team of the Year at the LABC Building Excellence Awards 2024. The borough continues to be at the heart of exciting developments, set to become London Borough of Culture in 2027 as ‘the Rebel Borough’ and hosting the Euros European Football Championship in Tottenham in 2028. Based in Wood Green, opposite the Piccadilly Line tube station, the team thrives in a supportive, collaborative environment and embraces progressive working practices, including flexible and home-working.

As Registered Building Inspector, you will bring expertise in building regulations and safety, along with the ability to foster good customer service.
