Position: School Meals Supervisory Assistant
Salary: Scale 1B to be pro-rata: Currently FTE £28,617 pa
Hours of work: 10 hours per week Monday to Friday, term time only.
Contract Term: Fixed Term ending 2027

An exciting opportunity to work in a friendly, successful school set in beautiful grounds in Highgate. We are looking for a positive, self motivated individual to join our Premises team. You will work under the direct supervision of our Premises manager but will also need to work independently, building excellent working relationships with staff and pupils. Ideally you should have previous experience of site management, caretaking and/or a background with trade skills.
The position involves:
- Ensuring the school environment is welcoming, clean and well maintained to the highest standard and Health & Safety compliant,
- Ensuring site safety and security,
- Carrying out minor repairs and decorative works, overseeing planned maintenance and emergency repairs
- Moving equipment and furniture as necessary for assemblies, meetings etc
- Overtime is available to cover occasional evening and weekend lettings
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of working in schools and must be prepared to undertake health and safety training and any other training appropriate for the role.
