About the role
We are looking for a Resident Liaison Officer to play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of the Housing Capital Investment Programme. Acting as the main link between residents and the Council, you will ensure effective communication throughout major works, providing advice, resolving issues, and ensuring tenants and leaseholders receive a high-quality service. You will manage enquiries, coordinate access for works, support vulnerable residents, and work closely with internal teams and contractors to ensure projects are delivered smoothly and successfully.
About the team
You’ll be part of a dynamic Asset Management team within Housing Property Services, working in partnership with project managers, contractors, and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. The team is focused on delivering improvements to residents’ homes while maintaining strong engagement and communication. About you
You are a confident communicator with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment. You enjoy working with people and are able to build positive relationships with residents, colleagues, and partners. With a proactive and solution-focused approach, you are comfortable handling sensitive situations, managing queries, and ensuring accurate records are maintained. Strong IT skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service will be key to your success in this role.
