About the role
We are looking to recruit four Parking and Traffic CCTV Enforcement Officers to operate on street CCTV cameras, and unattended devices recording images of potential parking, bus lanes, and moving traffic contraventions. The ideal candidate should be able to review and input images of potential parking, bus lanes, and moving traffic contraventions, in line with established guidelines and practices, generating penalty charge notices. In addition, the candidate should be able to compile and classify evidence data and maintain records and other documentation as required and contribute effectively to maintain high levels of performance and quality. Candidates will be working with a diversified team, comprising Camera Enforcement Operators, Supervisors, and Parking Managers across the service.
About you
We need experienced Parking and Traffic CCTV Enforcement Officers with in-depth knowledge and application of relevant legislation, regulations, procedures, and guidance in order to identify traffic infringements and carry out appropriate enforcement action. Experience in operating all equipment within the control room incorporated in the parking enforcement camera system. Experience in using the enclosed circuit television system to observe parking, bus lanes, and moving traffic contraventions in accordance with the relevant legislation, traffic regulation orders, approved code of practice, and other guidance issued.
Qualifications: Level 2 BTEC in CCTV Traffic Enforcement/ Experience for ANPR enforcement.
