About the role
We are looking for a proactive and organised Housing Needs Admin Support Officer to join our Housing Needs Service. In this role, you will provide high‑quality administrative and frontline support, helping the team deliver statutory homelessness assessments and essential services to residents. Your responsibilities will include managing case records, responding to enquiries, supporting housing plans, and maintaining accurate data across internal systems, ensuring a responsive and efficient service.
About the team
You will be part of a dedicated Housing Needs team within a fast‑paced and customer‑focused environment. The team plays a crucial role in supporting residents by providing advice, managing cases, and ensuring access to housing services. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with senior practitioners and colleagues across the service to continuously improve processes, deliver excellent outcomes, and provide a supportive experience for customers.
About you
You will bring strong administrative experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a varied workload with accuracy and attention to detail. You are confident using IT systems, able to prioritise tasks effectively, and committed to delivering excellent customer service. A flexible and proactive approach is essential, alongside the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Experience or understanding of housing services is beneficial but not essential.
