About the Role: Stonecroft is a Haringey Council maintained Nursery that has recently been rated “Outstanding” for a second time by Ofsted. Stonecroft is an innovative nursery with friendly, hardworking and motivated staff who provide childcare and education for families in our diverse local community. Stonecroft has an exciting Reggio inspired environment for children to grow and reach their full potential. We are looking for an Early Years Officer Assistant to work with children aged 2 years to rising 5 year olds. An Early Years assistant works under the direction and in conjunction with the Early Years Officer/key person, to support access to care, play and learning for all children. We are excited to find a new team member to join our experienced team for the next exciting phase of our development. This will be a great opportunity for you to be part of our vision in being a beacon of outstanding childcare and education in the Local Authority.
About You: Any applicants will require a level 2 in Children’s Care Learning and Development or hold an equivalent qualification. Have experience with working with young children and have a thirst for further learning and training. Be an inspirational role model to children and be passionate about team working. Have a good level of literacy skills and be a good communicator. Be an advocate for equal opportunities ensuring each child individual needs are met.
