Reports to: Haringey Training Hub Programme Manager and Clinical Lead

Accountable to: Clinical Lead, NCL Education Faculty and COP

Hours: Part time - 4.2 hours per week (equivalent to 1 session)

Salary: Depending on experience from £82,462 to £93,773 pro rata

Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2027

Interview date: Thursday 21st May and Friday 22nd May. Please note this will be face to face and no alternative dates will be offered.

Applicants must be a registered Medical Practitioner currently working in Primary Care within the London Borough of Haringey. This requirement is essential to ensure the post holder has strong local knowledge and established professional relationships.

Main duties of the job:

  • The Faculty Programme Director for Haringey Training Hub designs and delivers educational programmes for primary care workforce across the five NCL boroughs.
  • The role assesses and addresses learning needs of multi-disciplinary teams, promotes effective supervision for different workforce groups, and ensures that education is accessible and responds to local and national NHS workforce priorities.
  • Develop educational content and resources that align with the Educational Faculty's key programmes and wider NCL Training Hub strategy and KPIs.
  • Organise, promote, and deliver Multi-Professional Educator Group (MPEG) workshops for their borough based on NCL Training Hub projects. This may require working with other educators and training groups, such as GP Trainer and VTS groups.
  • Collect, analyse, and report on learning needs from local boroughs by working with PCN Educator Leads and other workforce roles.
  • Attend and contribute to NCL Education Faculty fortnightly working groups, updating Borough Training Hubs regularly on meeting outputs. If unable to attend, the Faculty Programme Director will assign a suitable deputy to attend.
  • Maintain a borough distribution list of local educators and supervisors with support of their Borough Training Hub and the NCL Education Faculty and Quality team.
