Hours of work: Fulltime (37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday)

Remuneration: £35,000 (per annum)

Accountable to: Chief Executive Officer

Location: Mixed home base and office in North Central London (Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington)

Main duties of the job:

  • Provide project support for existing and future projects of GPPC particularly:
  • Support delivery of key workstreams, including stakeholder engagement, project delivery (e.g. maintaining action log, risk management, financial reporting, project governance).
  • Work with the programme manager to undertake data analysis and assist with a range of services evaluation monitoring, along with other projects, developing materials for senior stakeholders.
  • Engage with relevant clinicians for the services and stakeholder practices of the Organisation.
  • Maintain positive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain databases and systems for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
  • Investigate the causes of any variance from target/plan and proactively contribute to the implementation of solutions.
  • Propose changes to projects and services, initiating work, informing policy and making recommendations for more effective delivery.
  • Management of a risk and issues tracking mechanism and its proactive resolution and escalation processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate information analysis and reporting to management on agreed areas of work.
  • Provide coordination of and participate in relevant internal and external working groups and provide service advice, expertise and support where requested.

Job responsibilities:

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual who would like to make a positive difference in NHS system level integrated working. The role will support various at scale services run by the North Central London GP Provider Collaborative (GPPC), including the delivery of clinical networks and specific project work. They will also provide administrative support to a range of areas. The post holder will primarily assist the programme manager in maintaining robust project delivery, including support of project documents, meetings, data collection and reporting processes and ensure compliance with relevant procedures and policies. They will additionally support the wider GPPC, including the CEO with essential meetings, papers and operations. They will be part of our growing team, working to deliver the key objectives of the GPPC supporting and strengthening General Practice, providing at scale Primary Care services and being a voice of Primary Care in multi-agency working.

Qualifications:
  • Evidence of continuing personal development
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent
Experience:
  • Experience of minute taking, managing actions and folders and management level correspondence
  • Using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience in preparing and producing concise yet insightful communications for a broad range of stakeholders
  • Experience of creating and giving presentations to a varied group of internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience of supporting and contributing to projects, including experience working with tools and methodologies
