We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and proactive Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) Practitioner to join our Inclusion Team. This role supports young people with social, emotional, mental health, and special educational needs to thrive academically and personally.

A unique opportunity based within our new SEMH Additional Resource Provision (ARP): We are opening a brand‑new SEMH Additional Resource Provision (ARP) this September at a dedicated site in Haringey. We are looking for passionate, resilient and dedicated staff to build an exceptional environment where every young person can thrive.

While the core focus is within the Additional Resource Provision, you may be required to work across the main Park View School site supporting students in Years 7–11 who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for SEMH needs. The provision offers a tailored, flexible curriculum shaped around the individual needs, strengths, and interests of our students, ensuring meaningful, holistic learning in a nurturing and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver targeted SEMH and SEND interventions.
  • Provide mentoring and emotional wellbeing support.
  • Act as a key worker for identified pupils.
  • Support pupils with behavioural, emotional and learning needs.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress and intervention outcomes.
  • Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies.
  • Promote positive behaviour through restorative and nurturing approaches.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience supporting children and young people with SEMH and/or SEND needs.
  • Empathetic, patient, and able to build positive relationships.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
