Latymer All Saints Church of England Primary School Governing Board are looking to appoint a full-time Deputy Headteacher to join our aspirational team. We are looking to appoint a high-quality, enthusiastic leader who will support us in our continuing journey.
As well as supporting the Headteacher with the strategic leadership of the school, our new Deputy Headteacher will take the lead on one or more of the school priority areas: Safeguarding, Inclusion, Teaching and Learning, Curriculum and Personal Development, EYFS, Behaviour and Attendance or Professional Development.
We are a successful, forward-thinking Primary School in a diverse multi-cultural area. Our school benefits from fantastic green spaces with many themed garden areas, a large playground with fields and has good public transport and road links. We have ample on-site parking.
Actual Salary Range: Outer London L12-L17 (pay point dependent on proven skills and abilities)
Contract Type: Permanent
We are seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher who:
- is able to demonstrate that they are consistently an excellent teacher and be a visible, values-driven leader across the school;
- will take the lead on managing the school operationally in partnership with the Headteacher and current leadership team;
- will lead on a number of key priority areas from the school implementation plan;
- can lead, develop and enhance the practice of others;
- is committed to ongoing professional development;
- has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead by example, maintain positivity at all times and have the ability to have challenging conversations;
- possesses the ability to inspire others and successfully manage change, establishing excellent working relationships with all staff, external professionals, governors, pupils and parents;
- has excellent experience, knowledge and understanding of inclusive practice;
- will ensure the best possible outcomes for all pupils and their families by influencing best practice across the school;
- will fully support the Christian vision and embed Christian values of Love, Aspiration, and Service into daily practice across the school when working with children, staff and parents;
- is an innovative, forward thinker who has a good sense of humour.
