Latymer All Saints Church of England Primary School Governing Board are looking to appoint a full‑time class teacher and EYFS Lead to join our aspirational team. We are looking for an inspirational, motivated, and creative leader with proven skills and abilities of excellent practice and high expectations, who will thrive on the opportunity to make a real difference to our youngest children’s lives.
You must have a good understanding of the importance of inclusive practice and creating an inclusive atmosphere and modelling that across the EYFS provision. We are a successful, forward‑thinking Primary School in a diverse multi‑cultural area. Our school benefits from fantastic green spaces with many themed garden areas, a large playground with fields and has good public transport and road links. We have ample on‑site parking.
We are seeking to appoint a Class Teacher and EYFS Lead who:
- is able to demonstrate that they are consistently an excellent teacher;
- has high expectations for all pupils;
- enjoys working in an inclusive environment;
- will take the lead on managing the EYFS team (a Nursery class and two Reception classes), ensuring the inside and outside provision enables our children to make the best start to their school life;
- is committed to ongoing professional development;
- has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead by example, maintain positivity at all times and have the ability to have challenging conversations;
- has excellent experience, knowledge and understanding of inclusive practice;
- will fully support the Christian vision and values of the school when working with children, staff and parents;
- is an innovative, forward thinker who has a good sense of humour.
