About the Role

We’re looking for a TA Placement Team Manager to lead the delivery of temporary accommodation and rehousing placements within Housing Demand. You’ll play a key role in ensuring households are placed quickly, appropriately and in line with policy, while managing demand in a fast‑paced and high‑pressure environment. You’ll oversee day‑to‑day operations, manage complex placement decisions, and work closely with internal teams and providers to secure suitable accommodation and achieve the best outcomes for residents.

About the Team

You’ll lead a dedicated team including TA Officers, a Senior Rehousing Officer and support staff, all focused on delivering an effective and responsive placement service. The team plays a vital role in supporting residents in housing need, working collaboratively across rehousing services and with external partners to ensure placements are delivered efficiently and compassionately.

About You

You’re an experienced housing professional with a strong understanding of temporary accommodation, homelessness, and placement processes. You have proven experience leading teams, managing performance, and making sound decisions in complex and sensitive cases. You bring excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across services and with providers. Organised and resilient, you thrive under pressure, can manage competing priorities, and are committed to delivering high‑quality, resident‑focused services.
