About The Role
Join our dedicated team at the Coroner’s Court as a casual Relief Usher, where you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of inquests and Pre-Inquest Review Hearings (PIRH). In this position, you will be responsible for preparing courtrooms, assisting with the setup of hearings, and ensuring everything is in place for proceedings to run efficiently. You will welcome and support attendees, carry out ushering and jury bailiff duties, and help manage recording equipment and virtual meeting software to facilitate hearings. This is a casual role, available on an as-needed basis, offering flexibility while contributing to the important work of the Coroner’s Court.
