The Role: As a Newly Qualified Social Worker you will receive high‑quality support during your Assessed and Supported Year of Employment (ASYE). We provide tailored support, regular peer‑group learning sessions, supervision and guidance from a team‑based assessor and mentor; a varied and interesting caseload; regular feedback on your practice; and access to resources and training via the Haringey Children’s Academy. We focus on evidence‑based research and provide practitioners with a range of tools.
Qualifications & Requirements: We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working collaboratively with families and young people, adopting a relational and empathetic approach. Applicants must be committed to direct work and advocacy for children and young people and be willing to learn and accept constructive feedback. A Newly Qualified Social Worker (NQSW) should be a positive communicator, able to collaborate, influence and challenge, with excellent verbal and written skills. They should be proactive, building on prior learning, and have a passion for social work. Relevant Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration are required before the start date.
